Leah Escott, AKA Lisa Loring, grew up in Jericho, Long Island, attended Stern College for Women and Downstate Nursing School. She has always had a passion for hiking, reading, and writing, both prose and poetry. She now resides in New Jersey with her husband and their youngest child. She is also very proud of her three grown daughters and grandchildren. Rosey Raises Roses is her grand entrance into the literary world.
